CSC Softball is a competitive but friendly co-ed league consisting of 24 teams. Each team consists of 6 men and 6 women players. Some teams also have a Non-Playing Assistant who helps keep score and organize cookouts.  The league plays on Thursday evenings from late April to early August at Busch Sports Park (4990 Olentangy River Rd, Columbus, OH 43214). Games are at 6:15 pm and 7:30 pm.

The league consists of all skill levels. Each player is rated (from 1 - haven't played before to 5 - an excellent player) and the teams are balanced to attempt to make sure that no team has a skill advantage. Everyone gets to play at least 3 innings of every game, and many games a player plays the entire game. Teams do not stay together year-after-year. All participants are distributed onto new teams every year. This gives players the opportunity to meet new people.

At the end of the regular season in early August, a Saturday-Sunday 2-day, all-day tournament is held in which all teams participate. Suffice it to say that the team that wins the tournament has bragging rights for a whole year! Don’t play softball but want to be involved?
You can still be part of a team by signing up as a Non-Playing Assistant (NPA). NPAs keep score and/or coordinate food/parties for their team. See you on the Diamonds!

All softball players must be current members of the Columbus Ski Club.
